Freixenet Cordon Negro Brut Cava

Who says size doesn’t matter?
For all of you who know me, you know my passion for fizz! I’m always on the lookout for great value when it comes to this little indulgence and Cava from Spain fits the bill.

Cava is made following the traditional method of Champagne production, at a fraction of the price.

Freixenet Cordon Negro Brut Cava is a personal favourite. Produced near Barcelona from Spanish grape varietals, it is dry and crisp. So versatile, you can serve Cava as an aperitif or with almost everything from spicy take out foods to charcuterie.

In its distinguished bottle, this is one of the few brands available at the LCBO in three sizes; 200mL (I’ve seen these single serves given as wedding and party favours), 750mL, and 1.5L (I love magnums – impressive and fun).  All great value:

Freixenet Cordon Negro Brut Cava

LCBO    +16771|  $4.75/200mL
LCBO +216945 | $15.00/750mL

Bring on the bubbly!

Salud!
